surface area of triangular prism=2b+ph

b=area of triangular base

p=perimeter of base

h=height

area of triangular base=(2x1.7) ➗ 2

area of triangular base=3.4 ➗ 2

area of triangular base=1.7

perimeter of base=2+2+2

perimeter of base=6

height=3

Therefore surface area=2x1.7+6x3

surface area=3.4+18

surface area=21.4
