Answer:

slope=2

Explanation:

To find the slope, remember
(rise)/(run) . Rise over run is the change in y-axis over the change in the x-axis.

A positive numerator will go up on the y-axis and a negative numerator will go down. A positive denominator will go right and a negative denominator will move left.

You can start at any fixed point, so lets use (0,0). Mark another fixed point on the line (1,2) , then count either how many spaces up or down and left or right you move to get to that new point.

You can also you the slope formula if you have two points:

(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))

(0,0)(1,2)

(0_{x_(1)},0_{y_(1)})\\(1_{x_(2)},2_{y_(2)})

(2-0)/(1-0)=(2)/(1)=2

The slope is 2.
