A snow cone cup at the County Fair is 15 cm tall and has a diameter of 8 cm. If the cup is filled just to the top, what is the volume of the cup? Use 3.14 for π and round to the nearest whole cubic centimeter.

We have been given that a snow cone cup at the County Fair is 15 cm tall and has a diameter of 8 cm. We are asked to find the volume of the cup.

We will use volume of cone formula to solve our given problem.

V=(\pi r^2h)/(3), where,

h = Height of cone,

r = Radius of cone.

We know that radius is half the diameter, so radius of given cone would be half of 8 cm that is
(8)/(2)=4 cm.

Upon substituting our given values in above formula, we will get:

V=\frac{3.14* (\text{4 cm})^2* \text{ 15 cm}}{3}

V=3.14* 16 \text{ cm}^2* \text{5 cm}

V=251.2\text{ cm}^3

Therefore, the volume of cup is 251.2 cubic cm.
