Answer:

Area = 60π cm²

Radius = n

circumference = x

So ,

= πr²=60π cm²

= n²= 60π cm²/π

= n² = 60 cm

= n = 7.74 cm (approx.)

Circumference = x = 2πr = 2πn = 2 × 3.14 × 7.74 cm

x= 48.60 cm or (15.48π cm)

Answer:

The circumference of the circle is 15.49π cm

Explanation:

To solve this exercise we first have to calculate the radius of the circle, for this we will use the formula of area of a circle and we will clear the radius

a = area = 60π

r = radius

a = π * r²

r = √(a/π)

r = √(60π/π)

r = √60

r = 7.746 cm

now we use the formula to calculate the circumference of a circle

c = π * 2r

c = π * 2 * 7.746

c = 15.49π cm

The circumference of the circle is 15.49π cm
