The area of the circle would be 706.5cm^3

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the area of a circle we can use the formula pi times the radius squared.
Since we don’t know the radius that is what we must find. To find the radius of a circle from the circumference you divide the circumference by pi. So 94.2 divided by 3.14 gives use 30. Then we take 30 and divide by 2.
30/2 = 15
So the radius of our circle is 15cm
To find the area we take our radius and square it 15^2 which is just another way of saying 15 x 15
Which equals 225. Then we take 225 and multiply it by pi.
225 x 3.14 = 706.5
So the area of the circle is 706.5cm^3
