Take two points

  • (0,1)
  • (1,3)

Slope

  • m=(y_2-y_1)/x_2-x_1
  • m=(3-1)/1

Answer: 2

Explanation:

The slope of a line is
(rise)/(run) (rise over run)

This means for every point you must go up/down to get your next point you divide it by every point you go right/left.

From one point to the next it goes up 2 (rise) and right 1 (run)

(2)/(1) = 2 so that is your slope
