it would be 4 since when you divide exponents you subtract the little number
5^6/5^2
keep the five subtract the 6-2
if it was multiplying you would do the opposite and add the little numbers

\huge\textbf{Hey there!}

\large\textbf{Equation:}\mathbf{(5^6)/(5^2) = 5^c}

\large\textbf{Convert to: }\mathbf{(5*5*5*5*5*5)/(5*5)=5^c}

\large\textbf{Simplify it!}

\mathbf{(25*25*25)/(25) = 5^c}

\mathbf{(625*25)/(25) = 5^c}

\mathbf{(15,625)/(25)=5^c}

\large\textbf{Simplify that as well!}

\mathbf{(15,625/25)/(25/25) = 5^c}

\mathbf{(625)/(1) = 5^c}

\mathbf{625/1= 5^c}

\large\textbf{Lastly, simplify that one \& you have your answer!}

\mathbf{625 = 5^c}

\mathbf{625\approx 5^\boxed{\bf4}}

\large\textbf{Now, let's simplify our exponent to make sure it is true!}

\mathbf{5^4}

\mathbf{= 5*5*5*5}

\mathbf{= 25*25}

\mathbf{= 625}

\mathbf{= 5^4\leftarrow \rightarrow 625}

\huge\textbf{Therefore, your answer is: \boxed{\mathsf{5^4}}}\huge\checkmark

\huge\textbf{Good luck on your assignment \& enjoy}\\\huge\textbf{your day!}
