Looking into the given values,the height of the cone was given but the radius is missing. Therefore ,we need to calculate the radius using the perimeter of the circular base of the cone.

Circumference = 2πr = 5.8cm. We then make r the subject and substitute it in the formula above.

2πr = 5.8

r = 5.8/2π

= 2.9/π

Niq getting the radius of the cone , we now put it in the above formula

V = (1/3) x π x (2.9/π)² x 12.5

= 1/3 x π x ( 8.41/π²) x 12.5

= 1/3 x 8.41/π x 12.5

= 1/3 x 8.41/3.142 x 12.5

= 0.3 x 2.677 x 12.5

= 10.038cm³
