Pythagorean Theorem: a^2 + b^2 = c^2

So, 16^2= 12.8^2 + x ------> 256= 163.84 + x^2 (subtract 163.84 from both sides of the equation) -----> x^2= 92.16 (square root) -----> x=9.6
