Explanation:

Point slope form is

y - y1 = m(x - x1) where m = slope of the line and (x1, y1) is a point on the line.

Here the slope = (10-2)/(6-4)

= 8/2

= 4.

So the equation is

y - 10 = 4(x - 6) using the point (6, 10)
