Religion can be a unifying force for those who have the same religious beliefs. For example those who have a catholic religious view typically connect with other of the same belief because of their religious practices. It can be a dividing force between different religions, wether it’s Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc... each has a different point of view on what religion should be like. Therefore people who do not practice the same religion tend to disagree, and bud heads.
