We know that the volume of a cylinder is given as

v= πr^2h

301.44= 3.142*r^2*6

301.44= 18.85*r^2

r^2= 301.44/18.85

r^2= 15.99

r=√15.99

r=3.998in

We know that the

diameter d =2r

Therefore d= 3.99*2

d= 7.997in
