I am wondering if I have the right answer (see my work below):
Equation = A = l x w
A = (3 x5) + (3 x 1/4) + (3/4 x 5) + (3/4 x 1/4)
15 + 3/4 + 15/4 + 3/16

Area = 19 11/16 feet2

Turn the fractions into an improper fraction and then multiply straight across

5 1/4 = 21/4

3 3/4 = 15/4
