As an 11-year-old, my response to losing Clemente was to put together an album of photos clipped from newspaper stories. Since then I've read books and numerous stories about him and also watched documentaries of his life.

40 Years after His Death,” Jorge Ortiz

Answer:

The author made an album of photos from newspaper stories.

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the passage from "Clemente's Impact Wanes in Puerto Rico 40 Years after His Death," the author Jorge Ortiz makes reference to the album of photos that he made out of newspaper stories to honor Puerto Rican baseball player Roberto Clemente. Thus, he mentions that the album was created as a reaction to Clemente's death in a plane accident in 1972, in which the baseball player was delivering goods following an earthquake in Nicaragua.
