Answer:

1) When we have two points of a line (x1, y1) and (x2, y2), we can find the slope of a line that goes trough those points can be written as:

s = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

here we can use the points (-2, 1) and (4, -6)

s = (- 6 - 1)/(4 - (-2)) = -7/6

2) We have a discount of 35% (or 0.35 in decimal form), this means that if the regular price is r, the discount is:

d = 0.35*r

If the regular price is $85, then the new price is the regular price minus the discount:

Price = $85 - 0.35*$85 = $55.25

3) We have that the sum of all interior angles of a triangle always add up to 180°

Then the missing interior angle of the triangle is:

a = 180° - 72° - 36° = 72°

And we have that if we have a line, and other line that cuts it, two consecutive quadrants will add up to 180°.

Then it the angle next to x is 72°, the angle x is:

x = 180° - 72° = 108°
