Explanation:

You'll have to find out the volume of a whole sphere, since there are two halves. The formula for a sphere is 4/3πr cubed. Plug the radius in, the formula is 4/3π2 cubed, or 33.51 (feet cubed). We then have to find the area of the cylinder. The formula for a cylinder is V=πr2h. Plug in the radius and height, and the formula is V=π2 squared (4) (bear with me here) which gives us 50.27 (feet cubed). Add the volumes (33.51+50.27) and you get 83.78 ft cubed!
