The Rohwer Japanese American Relocation Center, was actually a concentration camp from World War II and was the Japanese Amercian concentration camp was discovered in countryside southeastern Arkansas, in Desha County. It was in functioning from September 18, 1842 - November 30, 1945, and was incarcerated as many as 8,475 Japanese Americans compulsorily expeled from California.
