Things to remember
:
One revolution = distance of circumference covered
circumference = 2πr
diameter = 2 x radius
Solving
One revolution = 2 x π x d/2 = πd
One revolution = 3.14 x 8.5
One revolution = 26.69 inches
No. of revolutions = Distance / one revolution
No. of revolutions = 60 x 12 / 26.69
No. of revolutions = 720 / 26.69
No. of revolutions =
27 revolutions
