27 and 80

Explanation:

Whenever you have a number, if you move the decimal place to the left one space, that new number will always be 10% of the original number. For example, 100. --> 10.0, 10 is 10% of 100. We can take the number 60, move the decimal one over to get 6. We now know that since 6 is 10%, we multiply 6 by 4.5, because thats how mnay 10%s make up 45%. We get 27 as the answer

Take 12 and divide it by .15 to get 80.

The word "of" is just another way of saying multiply. So, you take 0.45 * 60 =27.

Then for the backwards one, we take 0.15x=12.

Divide by 0.15

X = 80
