2. If people do not fulfill their civic duties/responsibilities their will be disorderliness in a country. In could result in many bad situations.

Some examples of civic duties are:

  • paying the taxes
  • abiding by the laws
  • etc.

If people do not pay the taxes it will be a crash-down in the economy of a country.

Voilating the laws will make the country go curropt.

  • When citizens does not fulfill their civic duties or responsibilities, they may encourage corrupt activities in the society. People tend to engage in corrupt practices when there are no proper mechanism of control and police force.
  • For instance, when we do not file an FIR against a wrong doer, it encourages that person as well as many others to indulge into other illegal practices. This is because they think they can escape without any punishment as people don't seem to care enough.
