As you can see in the graph, the dot is at (-8, -8).

It tells you the translate(move) the figure 6 units up, but since we're just focusing on the dot, just move the dot 6 units up.

If you do this, only the y coordinate will change, meaning it will be (-8,-2)

Answer: (-8, -8) is the point in the original position

(-8, -2) is the point in the final figure
