its nearly impossible to determine one brand over another overall cause they all have flaws and strenghts. but it also depends on years which engine or options and what the trucks gonna be used for and in the end personal opinion. baasically there are few absolute things that apply to the entire vehicle line up. for light trucks toyota has been steadily the best reliability wise. rams have had generally the best diesel. ford has had the best chassis and body and running gear. gmc has had the best transmissions. the best new truck in my personal opinion would be the ford super duty.
