This polymer is proper for this type of object because it is not as packed as say HDPE, and the flexibility helps the bag become stretchy, making it easy to stuff a lot of overpriced food into the bag.

The coke bottle I got from the supermarket is made of polymer.

Written underneath the bottle is the number 2, indicating that the type of polymer is HDPE(High-density polyethylene).

This particular polymer, HDPE, function well because, the coke contains gas(CO2) and this polymer does not allow the passage of gas.

It is very stiff and strong, thereby making it not to break in case it falls on the ground and also prevents the freezer from having adverse effect on it.
