PLS answer has to be at least one paragraph- why are myths important and what can we learn from them

Myths are important because they are often passed down through generations and teach morals or tell a story of culture. An example of this are the Roman gods and goddesses, they were worshiped by the people and it gave the people a sense or morals. "Don't do that because the god of ___ will get mad and do ____." We can learn morals and its helps identify a sense of right and wrong.
