Answer:x=-10 y=-27 trust me i just did this problem and got it right

Explanation:

we have to eliminate either x or y and in this problem it would be easier to eliminate y

so to do that he have to multiply the top equation by -2 which makes it

-4x+2y=-14

5x-2y=4

now we have to combine the equations

so 5-4 = 1x

-2+2 =0y

4-14 =-10

1x=-10

x=-10

now we put that back in to find y

so

2(-10) - y =7

-20-y=7

+20 +20

-y=27

y=-27
