Explanation:


\sqrt[6]{x^(2)y^(3) }

When you have a root function it can be written as a fraction of an exponent

for example
√(x) can also be written as
x^(1/2), its the same thing

so with your equation it wouldn't be 1/2 but 1/6, and you just keep the exponents on the top of the fraction


x^(2/6) y^(3/6)

then just simplify


x^(1/3) y^(1/2)
