Answer:

The Psychological Term for what has been described in the question is Reconditioning.

Step-by-step explanation:

To understand Reconditioning, we have to first look at what Conditioning is.

Conditioning is the psychological process that happens when we recognise that to two events always go together. Which means that when one of the two events happen, we automatically expect the other.

Or when one even happens, we behave in a particular way because of the other event which we expect.

For example, in recent times, there was a video on social media about dogs that ran away from their owner whenever they sneezed. These videos were used as comedy content to entertain people. So, what had happened was that the owner somehow got the dog to associate running away with their sneeze.

Usually, this trick is carried out by using treats such as biscuits.

If the owner were to change up the desired behavior of the dog, he or she would also use that method.

When the dog has been successfully trained not to run at the owner's sneeze, it is said to have been reconditioned.

So, in the process above, Danielle is trying to recondition her dog to only come paw at her face when it is past 5 am.

If she is consistent, very soon Lola will get the cue and adjust.

Cheers!
