The doubling time of a bacterial population is 15 minutes. After 120 minutes, the bacterial population was 90000.

-What was the initial population of bacteria?

-Using your rounded answer from above, find the size of the bacterial population after 5 hours.

Answer:

It is 11,250 (initial population). After 5 hours it is 225,000.

Explanation:

First, you divide 90,000 by 8. Then you multiply it by 20 which is 225,000!
