Do all adaptations result in a change in population? Explain

No, sometimes adaptations are insignificant or cause the mutated organism to die, so it does not have the chance to reproduce and spread the mutation to its offspring. Many adaptations are neutral. Unless the environment changes, adaptations will most likely not affect a population.
