Answer: $3.42

Explanation:

Calculate 9.5% (0.095) of 16.99 and 52.99 separately.

0.095(16.99)=1.61

0.095(52.99)=5.03

Substract 1.61 from 5.03

5.03-1.61=3.42

So there's $3.42 more tax on the video game than the book.
