Explanation:

x² + y² = (x + 2y)²

x² + y² = x² + 4xy + 4y²

4y² - y² + 4xy = 0

3y² + 4xy = 0

y(3y + 4x) = 0

3y + 4x = 0

3y = -4x

x/y = -3/4

x : y

-3 : 4
