The hundredths place can be represented similarly to the hundreds place. Since they're both productions of 100 or divisions of 100 we can divide or multiply to find our case. Our since it's already in a decimal form, we find the place that would need to be multiplied by 100 to become part of the ones place.

Edit: i also realize that the multiplying and dividing part may be slightly confusing, you only do that in the case of trying to convert something to the hundreds or hundredths place.
