In May, there were 14 days where the temperature was above 60°F and 17 days when it was below 60°F. There were also 19 days that were sunny. If a two-way table is made to represent the data, which could be the row and column headings?

Answer:

The table must be Event vs Number of days.

Then you can write the table as:

\left[\begin{array}{ccc}Event&#Days\\T>60f&14\\T<60f&17\\Sunny&19\end{array}\right] \\

In this way you have your information organized. Whit onle a look at the table you can see the number of days that had a temperature above 60°f, below 60°f and the sunny days.
