The formula for the area of a cylinder is base * height.

The base is a circle, so the equation for that is PiRsquared.

The diameter of the circle is given, and the radius is half the diameter.

34 / 2 = 17.

To find the area, pi * 17(to the second power).

289pi.

Then, multiply that by the height, 19 cm.

17250.49 cubic centimeters.
