Team B has 6 runners, each running 1/2 a mile. In total, team B has run 3 miles (6 x 1/2=3). Now, you are only left with answer choice B.

Team C has 8 runners, and each runner also jogs half a mile. So, the team as a whole has jogged 4 miles. Thus option B is correct
