the shape is a quarter circle.

the formula for the area of a quarter circle is :
1/4 x pi x radius x radius

in this case for this question, pi = 3.14. the radius will be 8.

1/4 x 3.14 x 8 x 8 = 50.24

ans = 50.24

Answer:

Explanation:

r = 8 units

Area = (1/4)πr²

=(1)/(4)*3.14*8*8\\\\=3.14*8*2\\\\= 50.24 square units\\
