Hi guys! Im suck on this question in my text book and I was wondering if you could help me!

Find three fractions that add to give an answer between 2 and 3.

Answer:

2 3/4 = 1/2 + 1/1 + 5/4

Explanation:

Find a number between 2 and 3, (In fraction form)

Start with 1/1 or 3/3 or something to get a 1.

Now all you need is 1 and a fraction(The one you chose earlier)

All I did was choose another number and (My example was 1/2) and find the third number by adding the first two numbers and subtracting the answer from the original number you chose.

Now you have the number! Sorry if it was a little too much
