f(x)=2x-3x and
g(x)=-5x-1

For
f(x)=2x-3x :


x=-5


f(-5)=2x-3x\\f(-5)=2(-5)-3(-5)\\f(-5)=-10+15\\f(-5)=5

For
g(x)=-5x-1:


x=5


g(5)=-5x-1\\g(5)=-5(5)-1\\g(5)=-25-1\\g(5)=-26
