It's not like a normal Xbox where it needs hours of setup. It offers free games, and a pretty cheap subscription compared to other prices.
The makers of Nintendo are open to mistakes and fixes them as soon as possible.
- Purchasing Games
Nintendo uses a game card for their games, there is also an online code for games.
Game cards, are the chip looking type thing that is smaller than your thumb, they store game data. When taken out the data does not 100% percent stay in the Nintendo but it does save some info.
Game cards barely take storage space since the data stays in the chip/game card.
Game codes work differently, usually more expensive than a game card, a game code is an online code that you might buy online. It is simply a code that gets entered in your Nintendo.

2. Portability
Nintendo is 100% portable, it is recommended to get a screen protector for safety though. Nintendo has 3 modes. Being a tablet it has handheld mode, tabletop mode and TV mode. TV mode has quite a lot of setup and you would need to buy more accessories.
3. Size
The nintendo is not that big, it's 4 inches high and 9.4 inches long.
4. Comfortability
It is totally comfortable in all modes! Handheld mode is recommended when playing alone, and TV mode is recommended when with family.
5. Are The Games Really That Good?
Ofcourse! There is a vast variety of games and every few months a new one comes out. (I'm personally waiting for the release of Genshin Impact!)
