if i did this right the answer is v= -0.5

Explanation:

first you have to substitute the numbers in for the variables

v= u+at turns into v= 2+-5(1/2)

next you multiple -5 by 1/2 to get -.25 so the equation turns into v= 2+-2.5

last you add 2 and -2.5 so v= -0.5
