Completely factor the polynomial.

12x 2 + 2x - 4
A) 2(3x + 2)(2x - 1)

Explanation:

First we will multiply 4 by 12 = 48

Then we will find the factors of 48 that when we add or subtract it the answer is 2 so

12x 2 - 6x + 8x - 4

6x ( 2x - 1) + 4 (2x - 1)

So ( 2x - 1) and (6x + 4) are the factors

Option C is the correct answer
