Answer:

b) shade the two boxes next to the one that is shaded

c) shade the 4 corners

Explanation:

b) if one box shaded is 1/9, then having 3 shaded total is 3/9 which is 1/3 of total

c) You can shade the 4 corners (one is already shade for you)

This will create a vertical and horizontal line of symmetry in the middle

For the 1st one, shade the entire 1st row of squares.

For the 2nd, shade the bottom right square.
