5y = 2x +20

y = (2/5)x + 4

slope of this line is 2/5

This means that the slope of the other line is -5/2

point (-4, 0)

y-0 = (-5/2)(x+4)

distribute


y = (-5)/(2) x + (-20/2)


y = (-5)/(2) x - 10

^^This is the slope intercept form

(5/2)x + y + 10 = 0 --> general form

- you could multiply by 2 to get rid of fraction but I don't know if you need to do that.

If you did multiply by 2 you would get 5x + 2y + 20 = 0.
