Answer & Explanation: The Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) is the set of laws that governs every commercial transactions in the United States that was brought into being as a result of the prevalence of commercial transactions that extend beyond states.

The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) are comprehensive set of rules that govern every international business sales transactions excluding services. It therefore establishes a framework for commerce on an international scale.

However, whereas the CISG is a federal law, the UCC is a state law. As such the CISG always pre-empt the UCC in any type of business transaction that falls under its scope.
