Answer:

AB²=AC²+ BC²

AB = \sqrt{ {(8)}^(2) + {(15)}^(2) }

= √(64 + 225) = √(289) = 17

AB(hypotenuse)=17cm

Answer:

Explanation:

Here Given

perpendicular (p)= 15 cm

base (b) = 8 cm

hypotenuse (h) = ?

We know by using Pythagoras theorem,

h^(2) =p^(2) +b^(2)

h^(2) = 15^(2) + 8^(2)

h^(2) = 225 +64

h^(2) = 289

h =√(289)

Therefore h = 17 cm

Hope it will help :)
