Water changes the shape of Earth in the following ways-

The running water such as rivers and streams causes the disintegration of rocks into smaller pieces. This is called weathering which changes the topographic features.

The weathered rock pieces are easily eroded with moving water. The water deposits the rocks to newer places which create new landforms.

The property of water to dissolve a large number of substances is majorly responsible for changing the Earth's surface as it helps in the transport of a large number of materials such as soil, rocks etc. to different places.

For example- The North Indian Plains are created due to the erosional and depositional activities of rivers draining that region.
