Explanation:

The x coordinate is number of jam jars while y coordinate is number of cups of sugar.

If you look at the graph at (2,1), it is saying that there is 1 cup of sugar for every two jam jars.

If you look at (4,2) that is saying that for 4 jars of jam, they need 2 cups of sugar, which confirms my statement above that the ration of Jam Jars to Cups of Sugar is 2:1.

The last point on our graph is (10,5). Lets continue from there.
