What is a con for the fourth amendment?

Answer and Explanation:

The fourth amendment basically states that searches or seizures of personal property are forbidden/unlawful unless the searcher has a warrant to do so.

In many aspects, this amendment helps preserve the privacy rights of American citizens. However, this is a major flaw: it makes it much more difficult for law enforcement officials to pinpoint illegal activity. For example, even if it is very clear that Person A has stolen goods in his/her home, the police officers / FBI cannot confiscate those objects unless they have a permit to do so. This prevents them from doing justice to the victim and carrying out their duties.

Hope this helps!
