How can you identify a linear nonproportional relationship from a table, a graph, and an equation?

From a table, for an ordered pair (0,y), y will not be zero

From a graph, the y-intercept will not be zero

From an equation, it will have the form y = mx + b where b is not zero

if the y-intercept is equal to zero the relationship is proportional because it goes through the origin. So when a relationship is non-proportional the y-intercept will not equal zero.
