Answer:

0.47

Explanation:

All numbers in the bag:

  • 8, 9, 10, ..., 24

Total numbers :

  • 1+24 - 8= 17 number of possible outcomes

Odd numbers are one less as starting and ending of series is even numbers:

  • (17 -1)/2= 8 number of favorable outcomes

Probability of drawing an odd number:

  • Probability= Number of favorable outcomes/Number of total possible outcomes
  • P = 8/17 = 0.47 rounded to nearest hundredth

Answer is 0.47
